Horiguchi Joins UFC to Become Japan's First Champion

Former Bellator and Rizin FF champion, Japanese fighter Kyoji Horiguchi, announced at a press conference in Japan that he has signed a contract with the UFC.

It was rumored that Horiguchi would possibly fight Ulanbekov in a UFC event held in Azerbaijan.

Horiguchi's last fight took place in December 2024 at Rizin 49, where he won against Nkazimulo Zulu by unanimous decision. His professional record now stands at 34 wins and five losses, with one fight deemed a no contest.
