A lightweight bout between New Zealand's Dan Hooker and Poland's Mateusz Gamrot will take place on August 18 at UFC 305 in Australia.

Hooker, 34, last stepped into the octagon in July 2023 at UFC 290, defeating Jalin Turner by split decision. He has 23 wins and 12 losses on his record.
Gamrot last fought against Rafael dos Anjos in March 2024 at UFC 299. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Mateusz by unanimous decision. The Pole has 24 wins and two losses on his record, and one more of his fights has been ruled a no contest.
