Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has spoken out regarding the behavior of Colby Covington, who insulted Leon Edwards before the UFC 296 tournament by making comments about his late father.

Recall, on December 17 in the main event of UFC 296 Edwards defeated Covington by unanimous decision of judges, defending the title for the second time in the welterweight division. He has 22 wins and three losses on his record.
Covington, 35, last fought in March 2022 at UFC 272, defeating Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and four losses on his record.
