UFC light heavyweight champion American Jamahal Hill spoke about a possible showdown with former champion Jon Jones.
Jamahal Hill for MiddleEasy
I want to fight him, a thousand percent. I want to eventually build to a fight against Jon. He’s the ultimate test. He was from the time that I came and decided, ‘alright I’m gonna make this run.
Hill last stepped into the Octagon on January 22nd against Brazilian Glover Teixeira at UFC 283. That fight went the entire distance and ended in favor of Jamahal by unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, he won the UFC light heavyweight championship belt.
Jones, 35, defeated Dominick Reyes by unanimous decision in his last fight, which took place in February 2020 at the UFC 247 tournament. He has a record of 26 wins and one loss.
