Former UFC light heavyweight champion American Jamal Hill revealed that former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya gave him advice for the fight against Alex Pereira, which will take place in the main event of UFC 300.
Hill said, as quoted by BJ Penn:
100%, he provided some great insight. We had a great conversation, he answered all my questions, and he was just an open book with anything I wanted to know about his experience. Being in there with Alex, he opened up and he shared his experience with me.
The 32-year-old Hill last fought in January 2023, defeating Glover Teixeira by unanimous decision at UFC 283. He has 12 wins and one loss on his record.
The 34-year-old Adesanya last stepped into the octagon in September 2023 at UFC 293, losing to Sean Strickland by unanimous decision. He has 24 wins and three losses on his record.
