Anthony Hernandez
On Friday while training I sustained an injury, I got my MRI results back this morning and unfortunately due to a torn ligament in my hand, I will no longer be able to fight on June 1. I want to apologize to the UFC, my opponent, & the best matchmaker Mick Maynard but this was not an injury I could push through. I hope for a quick return and [to] be back in the cage before summer ends.
Hernandez, 30, last stepped into the octagon in February 2024 at UFC 298, defeating Roman Kopylov via second-round choke. He has 12 wins and two losses on his record.
The 35-year-old Dolidze is currently riding a two-fight losing streak. He lost his most recent fight, which took place at UFC Fight Night 235 in February 2024, to Nassourdine Imavov by majority decision. He has 12 wins and three losses on his record.
