GFL League Announces Rematch Between Rockhold and Weidman

The Global Fight League (GFL) has officially announced a rematch between former UFC middleweight champions Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman.

Their first fight took place in December 2015 at UFC 194. This match, which was stopped in the fourth round, ended with Rockhold winning by technical knockout.

Rockhold's last MMA fight was against Paulo Costa in August 2022 at UFC 278. That match went the full distance, and Luke lost by unanimous decision. His record stands at 16 wins and six losses.

Weidman last competed in an MMA match against Eryk Anders in December 2024 at UFC 310. This fight, stopped in the second round, ended with Chris losing by technical knockout. His record includes 16 wins and eight losses.
