Eighth-ranked UFC American welterweight Geoff Neal explains why he combines his training and performance time with a part-time job as a waiter at a restaurant in Texas.
Geoff Neal
I actually like working. It's fun. It's a break away from the constant grind of fighting and training and all that. It keeps me grounded and I don't talk to people much so it forces me to get [into a] social situation.
In his last fight at UFC 285 in March 2023, Neal lost to Shavkat Rakhmonov by third-round choke. Neal, 32, has 15 wins and five losses under his belt.
