The middleweight bout between American fighters Kelvin Gastelum and Chris Curtis will take place on April 8 at UFC 287.
Gastelum, 31, is on a streak of two straight losses. In August 2021 at UFC on ESPN 29, he lost to Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision. In April of that year at UFC on ESPN 22, Kelvin lost to Robert Whittaker by unanimous decision. Gastelum has 20 wins and eight losses under his belt.
Curtis, 35, knocked out Joaquin Buckley in the second round at UFC 282 in December 2022. Last July, at UFC Fight Night 208, he lost to Jack Hermansson by unanimous decision. Curtis has 30 wins and nine losses under his belt.
