Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt reacted to his loss to Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 300.
Garbrandt wrote on social media:
I felt great in my fight, until I started to experience vertigo. I couldn't control the spinning once it was to the ground. Hats off to Davison and his camp! I ended up going to the hospital where I was still experiencing the vertigo throwing up until 4 am. I've dealt with vertigo since 2012.
The fight between Figueiredo and Garbrandt took place on April 14 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas (USA).
That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in Davison's favor with a choke hold. He has 23 wins, three losses and one draw on his record. Cody has 14 wins and six losses on his record.
