No. 2 ranked UFC lightweight division, BMF champion Justin Gaethje believes the promotion should increase cash bonuses for performances at the UFC 300 anniversary tournament.
It's worth noting that the UFC currently pays out $50,000 bonuses for best performance and best fight of the evening.
I’ve got 12 bonuses in 12 fights. I’m hoping this UFC 300 card brings $300,000 bonuses. I’m always shooting for those things. It needs to be at least $100,000.
Recall, Gaethje will fight Max Holloway on April 14 in Las Vegas (USA) as part of the UFC 300 tournament.
The 35-year-old Gaethje last fought in July 2023 at UFC 291, defeating Dustin Poirier by knockout in the second round. He has 25 wins and four losses on his record.
Holloway, 32, last stepped into the octagon in August 2023 at UFC Fight Night 225, defeating Jung Chan-sung by third-round knockout. He has 25 wins and seven losses on his record.
