Former UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev faced a Brazilian grappler, Rogerio Bontorin, in a grappling match at the ADXC 6 tournament held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on October 25.
Mokaev lost the match by a split decision from the judges.
His last bout prior to this was against Manel Kape at UFC 304 in July of this year, where he won by unanimous decision after going the distance. Following that fight, he departed from the UFC with a record of 13 wins, zero losses, and one no contest.
Bontorin last competed against Yutaro Muramoto in October 2023 at a Rizin event. That fight also went the distance and ended in Rogers's favor, winning by unanimous decision. Bontorin's record stands at 17 wins, five losses, and two fights deemed no contests.
