Former UFC Fighter Menga Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison in England

Pietro Menga, a former MMA fighter in the bantamweight division, has been sentenced to 15 years and five months in prison in England, as reported by SkyNews.

Menga was arrested in Manchester in January 2024, just before a scheduled fight against Kiru Sahota. He faced charges of cocaine trafficking as part of a large criminal organization.

According to sources, Menga was involved in illegal operations amounting from £490,000 to £620,000. He was also engaged in arms trafficking.

In 2017, Menga signed a contract with UFC but failed to make weight before a fight against Tim Elliott. As a result, the match was canceled, and the world's premier league decided not to renew Menga's contract.

His last fight was against Sam Holliday in April 2023 at the BMF MMA 5 event, where Menga won by submission in the first round. He has a record of 14 wins and four losses in mixed martial arts.
