It's with a heavy heart that today I've decided to hang up my gloves. After receiving news of the UFC not giving me the opportunity to finish out the final fight on my contract, I've ultimately decided to turn the page and start writing my next chapter. With that being said fighting indeed saved my life. I gave it my all every-time I stepped into an Octagon. This opportunity taught me more about myself than anything else. It molded me into the man that can handle becoming the best version of himself, and it showed me that I CAN do anything I set my mind to.
Argueta's last fight was against Cody Haddon in October 2024 at UFC Fight Night 244, where he lost by unanimous decision after going the full distance. His MMA record stands at nine wins and three losses, with two fights ruled as no contests.
