Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman of Nigeria was spotted with a bandage on his hand, indirectly confirming the information that he won't be able to make his third fight against British Leon Edwards in March.
Usman attended the Face Off Fight Night 3 tournament in Nigeria, where he was spotted with a bandage on his hand, suggesting an injury.
Usman last stepped into the octagon against Leon Edwards in a rematch in August 2022 at UFC 278. In that bout, Kamaru was knocked out in the fifth round.
The first fight between Usman and Edwards took place in December 2015 at UFC on Fox 17. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended with Kamaru winning by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 20 wins and two losses under his belt.
