Former UFC women's strawweight champion Jessica Andrade has revealed that her former coach, Parana Vale Tudo, embezzled two million dollars from her.
MMA Fighting cites Andrade as saying:
We have a lawsuit going about the money that was transferred to other people I’ve never seen in my life. That happened when he was taking care of my finances, and I had no access to anything. He said I was shopping too much on Amazon, but with the investigation and all that, [we saw that] I made $2 million and spent $10,000 on Amazon. Where did the rest of the money go? It’s being investigated now, and we’ll find out where every penny went.
Andrade is set to face Natalia Silva in the octagon at UFC Vegas 97, scheduled for the night of September 8 in Las Vegas, USA.
Her last fight took place in April against Marina Rodriguez at UFC 300, where Jessica won by split decision after a full three-round bout. Throughout her mixed martial arts career, she has achieved 26 victories and suffered 12 defeats.
