Former UFC heavyweight champion Cameroonian fighter Francis Ngannou announced the passing of his one-and-a-half-year-old son, Kobe Ngannou. The circumstances surrounding Kobe Ngannou's death remain unknown.
The 37-year-old Ngannou's last fight was in March 2024, where he was defeated by Anthony Joshua via knockout in the second round. Francis made his professional boxing debut in October 2023, losing to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury by a split decision.
Ngannou's last MMA fight took place in January 2022 at UFC 270, where he defeated Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and three losses.
