Former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno from Mexico declared that he will take a pause in his professional fighting career.
Moreno is quoted by MMA Junkie as saying:
This is by no means a goodbye. I think I’m just tired. I’m tired of the media, the same questions, the vibe, the constant pressure. I’m not saying I’m 100 percent stepping away from MMA, but I do want to take a break to rest.
The 30-year-old Moreno's last bout was in February 2024 at UFC Fight Night 237, where he lost to Brandon Royval by a split decision. He has 21 wins, eight losses, and two draws on his record.
