Former Bellator Champion Freire Set for UFC Debut on April 13 in Miami

Former Bellator double champion Patricio Freire, from Brazil, is set to make his UFC debut on April 13 in Miami, facing Mexican fighter Yair Rodriguez.

Freire last fought Jeremy Kennedy in March 2024 at a Bellator event in Belfast, where he won the match by technical knockout in the third round. His record now stands at 36 wins and 7 losses.

Rodriguez last fought Brian Ortega in February 2024 at UFC Fight Night 237. That bout was stopped in the third round, resulting in a loss for Yair by submission. His current record has 19 wins and 5 losses.
