Former interim UFC lightweight title challenger Cory Sandhagen will fight against the division's seventh-ranked Rob Font at UFC on ESPN 50 in Nashville (USA).
This is reported by journalist Marc Raimondi on social networks.
Recall, initially Sandhagen's opponent was supposed to be Russian Umar Nurmagomedov, but he suffered a shoulder injury and withdrew from the tournament.
Font, 36, last fought in April of this year at UFC 287, where he defeated Adrian Yanez by technical knockout in the first round. Rob has a total of 20 wins and six losses under his belt.
Sandhagen, 31, last fought Marlon Vera at UFC on ESPN 43 in March of this year. In that confrontation, Cory won by split decision of the judges. He has 16 wins and four losses on his record.
