The UFC press office has officially announced a matchup between French fighter Benoit Saint-Denis and Spanish competitor Joel Alvarez, scheduled for May 11 at UFC 315 in Montreal, Canada.
Saint-Denis last fought against Renato Moicano in September 2024 at UFC Fight Night 243. In that bout, which was stopped in the second round, Benoit suffered a technical knockout loss. He has a professional record of 13 wins and three losses, and one fight declared a no contest.
Alvarez last stepped into the octagon against Drakkar Klose in December 2024 at UFC on ESPN 63. That fight ended in the first round with Joel winning by knockout. His record stands at 22 wins and three losses.
