Russian Bellator heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko commented on his upcoming fight with heavyweight champion Ryan Bader, which will be the last of his career.
Fedor Emelianenko
Of course, I would really like to win this fight... God willing. I'm grateful to Scott Coker and Bellator for giving me the opportunity to fight the champion in my last fight after my, shall we say, successful performances. And to end my career on such a high note. Thanks to Ryan for accepting the challenge. We'll see everything on Saturday.
Fedor Emelianenko vs. Ryan Bader will take place on the evening of February 5th at Bellator 290.
Emelianenko last appeared in the cage against Timothy Johnson in October 2021 at Bellator 269. That confrontation ended with a first-round knockout victory for Fedor. In December 2019, at Bellator 237, Emelianenko knocked out Quinton Jackson in the first round. The 46-year-old Russian fighter has a record of 40 wins and six losses.
