Fan Obed Ardon, who was punched by Russian fighter Arman Tsarukyan while entering the fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC 300, has no plans to take legal action against the athlete.
Ardon told Bloody Elbow:
I’d like to apologize to Arman for provoking him by flipping him off. I do want to make clear that I didn’t pull him towards me, yell out offensive words or anything of that nature. I flipped him off, nothing else. Congrats to Arman on a great performance and best of luck to him against whoever he fights for the title.
It is worth noting that at UFC 300, Tsarukyan defeated Oliveira by a split decision.
The 27-year-old Tsarukyan previously entered the octagon in December 2023 at UFC on ESPN 52, defeating Beneil Dariush by knockout in the first round. He currently holds 22 wins and three losses.
