Pereira surprised me by not allowing himself to be taken down. But it seems to me that Ankalaev didn't really want to take him down. He was just giving himself a break, filling in the pauses with clinches, not allowing Alex to relax. It was a good tactic. I didn’t find the fight boring; it was very technical. Both fighters had a lot to lose. Would I watch a rematch? Absolutely. But a rematch would show a new story.
