UFC middleweight champion Brit Leon Edwards has confirmed that he will fight Colby Covington of the United States this fall.

I’m good, I’m back training now. I’m back in the gym, my body’s feeling good, hoping to get back in there in October or November. I think Colby (Covington) is gonna be the opponent, so it’s all good.
Edwards, 31, fought against Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 in March of this year. Leon won that fight by majority decision. He has 21 wins and three losses under his belt.
Covington, 35, defeated Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision at UFC 272 on March 2022. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
