Former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards commented on his loss to Belal Muhammad at UFC 304.
Edwards posted the following message on his Instagram:
To my fans I’m sorry I couldn’t get the job done this time. I have been through harder times than this in life and I will rise again. Thanks for all the love and support I will get this back in blood.
Recall, Muhammad won the UFC 304 title fight by unanimous decision, breaking the 13-fight unbeaten streak of Edwards that dated back to 2016.
Edwards, 32, has 22 wins, 4 losses and 1 fight ruled a no contest on his MMA record. Muhammad, 36, has 24 wins, 3 losses and 1 fight ruled a no contest.
