UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman answered to former two-division champion Conor McGregor during a press conference for UFC 286.
Previously, McGregor said that after defeating Michael Chandler, he would challenge the winner of the fight between Edwards and Usman.
"As the king, I'm ready to welcome all challengers. Him and whoever is next," Edwards said.
I've always said I welcome a fight with him, so if it happens, so be it.
Recall that Usman and Leon Edwards will fight for the third time on March 18 at UFC 286 in London.
The first meeting of the fighters took place in December 2015 as part of the UFC on Fox 17 tournament. That fight, which went the whole distance, ended with Usman winning by unanimous decision of the judges. In August 2022, Edwards defeated Usman by fifth-round knockout at UFC 278.
McGregor admits he was thinking about ending career after loss to Poirier Ngannou says he's close to signing with PFL or ONE UFC to hold tournament in Abu Dhabi on October 21
