Georgian UFC fighter Merab Dvalishvili said in an interview with UFC India that he will fight reigning promotion bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley at UFC 306 on September 14 at the Sphere Arena in Las Vegas.
O'Malley last fought against Marlon Vera this past March at UFC 299. In that fight, Sean won by unanimous decision. He has 18 wins and one loss on his record.
Dvalishvili last stepped into the octagon against Henry Cejudo in February of this year at UFC 298. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in Merab's favor by unanimous decision. He has 16 wins and four losses on his record.
