UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili hinted that he and Petr Yan might have a rematch in June. Merab shared this information during a press conference in Georgia.
The first fight between Dvalishvili and Yan took place in March 2023 at UFC Fight Night 221, where Merab won by unanimous decision.
Dvalishvili's last bout was against Umar Nurmagomedov in January this year at UFC 311, which he won by unanimous decision after going the full distance. His current record is 19 wins and four losses.
Yan last competed against Deiveson Figueiredo in November 2023 at UFC Fight Night 248, a fight that also went the distance and ended in favor of Petr by unanimous decision. His record stands at 18 wins and five losses.
