Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos told in which fight he suffered the hardest punch of his career while fighting in the world's strongest league.
Dos Santos told MMA Junkie Radio:
Junior dos Santos
The hardest was Stipe Miocic in the first fight that I won. In the second round of the first fight, he connected with a cross on my face. It was very, very hard. I couldn’t see, and I couldn’t even hear. I was there, I was fine, I knew what was happening, but my vision was very blurry, almost black.
Recall, Miocic and dos Santos have entered the octagon twice to fight against each other. The first took place at UFC on Fox 13 in December 2014. Then the Brazilian won by unanimous decision of the judges. In the second fight, held in May 2017 at UFC 211, Stipe won by technical knockout in the second round.
Dos Santos, 39, last fought in September 2023 at Gamebred FC 5, defeating Fabricio Werdum by split decision. He has 22 wins and ten losses on his record.
