Brazilian UFC welterweight Rafael dos Anjos shared his plans for the future after defeating American Bryan Barberena at UFC on ESPN 42.
Rafael dos Anjos
I think I've earned the right to challenge whoever I want, and I want to challenge Conor McGregor. He's got a couple of months to clear his system of the drugs he's taking. I'll see you in July.
Remember, on the night of December 4, Dos Anjos defeated Barberena by submission (neck crank) in the second round.
Dos Anjos, 38, had previously competed in the UFC on ESPN 39 in July 2022, when he lost to Rafael Fiziev by TKO in the fifth round. He has 32 wins and 14 losses under his belt.
McGregor, 34, lost to Dustin Poirier by TKO in the first round at UFC 264 last July. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
