American UFC fighter T.J. Dillashaw does not consider league bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling the best fighter in their weight class, even though he suffered an early loss in his fight with him.
T.J. Dillashaw
I fought Aljamain Sterling, who I never considered and don't consider to be the best at bantamweight right now. I don't think he's dangerous and I was sure I was going to go out there and win even though I was injured... I just believe I'm the best. I was going to go out there and get my belt back.
Dillashaw and Sterling fought on October 22 at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi. T.J. was knocked out by TKO in the second round of the fight.
Dillashaw faced Cory Sandhagen at UFC on ESPN 27 this July. The bout lasted the entire distance and ended with T.J. winning by split decision. He has 17 wins and five losses under his belt.
