Top UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis said he would refuse to fight Moldovan fighter Sergey Spivak at UFC Fight Night 218 if referee Dan Miragliotta officiates.
Derrick Lewis
Miragliotta is plotting against me. He refereed the last two fights that I lost. If he referees this fight, I will not accept it. He will not referee any of my fights. It's nothing personal, he's a great guy, I'm sure he is, but I don't want him refereeing my fights. They need to check Dan's credibility.
Recall that UFC Fight Night 218 will take place on the evening of February 5th in Las Vegas.
Lewis, 37, lost his last fight, which took place in July 2022 at UFC 277, by TKO to Sergei Pavlovich in 55 seconds of the first round. In February of the same year, Derrick lost by TKO in the second round to Tai Tuivasa at UFC 271. He has a record of 26 wins and ten losses.
