Top UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis believes that current heavyweight champion Jon Jones will have no trouble defeating Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, set to take place on November 17 in New York (USA).

I think Jon will beat him in the first round. It’s crazy to see that a lot of people just disrespect Jones like that, like he ain’t the GOAT, for real. Of course, he’s for sure pound-for-pound. It’s crazy how a lot of these guys keep getting pound-for-pound and they ain’t even had that many fights.
It’s important to note that Lewis has withdrawn from UFC Fight Night 246, which is happening on the night of November 3 in Canada, due to health issues.
Jones last fought in March 2023 at UFC 285, winning against Ciryl Gane via submission in the first round. His record stands at 27 wins and one loss.
Miocic last entered the octagon in March 2021 at UFC 260, where he lost to Francis Ngannou by knockout in the second round. His record includes 20 wins and four losses.
