Demetrious Johnson Announced Retirement from MMA

The champion of ONE in the lightest weight category, former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson announced the end of his professional career during the ONE 168 tournament.

Like I said last time, When I came here in Denver, Colorado I said that it was potentially my last fight and I was not lying. I’m done, I’m done competing in mixed martial arts and I would like to thank you guys for giving me the opportunity.

The 37-year-old Johnson defeated Adriano Moraes by unanimous decision in his last fight, held in May 2023 at the ONE on Prime Video 10 tournament. He has 25 wins, four losses and one draw on his record.
