Danis: Smith Retired in a Puddle of His Own Blood

Famous grappler and former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis reacted to UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith's loss to Mingyang Zhang at UFC on ESPN 66.

On April 27 in Kansas City, Smith lost by technical knockout in the first round and announced his retirement from the sport.

Retired in a puddle of his own blood giving up like he does every fight I officially revoke the Lionheart nickname for Anthony Smith he literally has the heart of a poodle.

Before this fight, Smith entered the octagon in December 2024 at UFC 310, where he lost to Dominick Reyes by technical knockout in the second round. His record stands at 38 wins and 22 losses.

Zhang’s previous fight took place in November 2024 at UFC Fight Night 248, where he defeated Ozzy Diaz by technical knockout in the first round. He holds a record of 19 wins and six losses.
