Former UFC double champion Daniel Cormier is calling on the UFC management to prevent Donald Cerrone's return to the promotion after his using steroids.
Recently, the 41-year-old Cerrone expressed his desire to fight two more times to reach a total of 50 fights in the UFC and WEC.
Cormier said on his YouTube channel:
Cowboy’s been openly doing steroids, and while I like him, it doesn’t matter how I feel about him personally or what our relationship is right now. The fact is, he hasn’t been clean. Even if he can come back, pass tests, and re-enter competition, the reality is he had to use enhancers to feel like he could compete at that level again. To me, that doesn’t seem fair.
Cerrone last fought against Jim Miller in July 2022 at UFC 276, where he suffered a defeat by submission in the second round. His mixed martial arts record stands at 36 wins and 17 losses, with two fights declared as no contest.
