UFC president Dana White shared his thoughts on a potential fight between league heavyweight champion Jon Jones and former champion Brock Lesnar.
Jones said he would like to share the Octagon with Lesnar after his first-round choke victory over Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 on March 5.
Dana White, quoted by The Spun
Brock and I have a great relationship, and we always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight any more. Brock’s made a lot of money. He came into the UFC and won the heavyweight title. He’s got nothing left to prove. I don’t think he’d want to do it.
Lesnar last fought in the UFC in July 2016 against Mark Hunt. Brock initially won that fight by unanimous decision, but later, due to Lesnar's failed doping test, the result of the fight was cancelled. Brock has five wins and three losses in MMA. Jones has 27 wins and one loss.
