UFC head Dana White told a story about how one of the promotion's biggest sponsors asked him to remove a post supporting former US president, famous businessman Donald Trump.
White said on Theo Von's podcast:
I posted a video for Trump on my personal social media and one of our big sponsors called and said take that down. You know what I said? Go f-ck yourself. You vote for whoever you want to vote for, and I'll vote for whoever I want to vote for. That's how this works.
UFC 295 took place on November 12 in New York, USA and was headlined by a bout between Brazilian Alex Pereira and Czech Jiri Prochazka. In this confrontation Pereira won by technical knockout in the second round and became the UFC light heavyweight champion.
Russian Sergei Pavlovich and Briton Tom Aspinall met in the co-main event of the evening. Aspinall won the fight by knockout in the first round and won the UFC interim heavyweight title.
