UFC head Dana White has agreed to change the bonus rules for the UFC 303 tournament, which is scheduled to take place on the night of 30 June in Las Vegas (USA).
Normally, the promotion doesn't award more than one "Fight of the Night" bonus. According to MMA Fighting, this time White promised to give bonuses to the participants of the two best fights.
The upcoming tournament will be headlined by a rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka. The first fight between the fighters, which took place in November 2023, ended in Alex's favor by technical knockout. He has 10 wins and two losses on his record. Jiri has 30 wins, four losses and one draw.
The co-main event of UFC 303 is scheduled to feature a bout between American Brian Ortega and Brazilian Diego Lopez. Ortega has 16 wins and three losses. Lopez has 24 wins and six losses.
