UFC President Dana White shared that he is in negotiations with the team of former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier regarding a potential farewell fight in his career.
White said during a press conference following UFC on ESPN 63:

We're in the middle of talks for him with something that he wants to do for the end of his career.
Poirier's latest fight was against UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, which took place in June this year as the main event of UFC 302. The bout ended with Poirier losing by submission in the fifth round. Poirier has 30 wins and nine losses, with one of his fights ruled as a no contest.
