Famous American UFC welterweight fighter Colby Covington announced his desire to switch to wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) within the next two years.

Maybe I’ll go up to Orlando and go to the WWE training center. But I want to really start perfecting my craft in the WWE and the wrestling moves, and hopefully I can make a transition in the next year or two.
Covington's last fight was against Joaquin Buckley in December 2024 at UFC on ESPN 63, where he suffered a technical knockout loss in the third round.
Covington made his UFC debut against Anying Wang in August 2014, winning that bout by submission in the first round. He has a professional MMA record of 17 wins and five losses.
