Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Paulo Costa said he has agreed on a new contract with the UFC management. The Brazilian added that he wants to arrange a fight with Khamzat Chimaev.

I haven't signed the contract yet, but we negotiated all the terms with the UFC, which was very difficult. The UFC wants to arrange fights for me with Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev. They want the fight with Khamzat no matter what.
Costa had his last fight against Luke Rockhold in August 2022 at UFC 278. In that fight, Paulo won by unanimous decision.
Costa fought in October 2021 against Marvin Vettori at UFC Fight Night 196. The fight lasted the whole distance and ended in Paulo's defeat by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 14 wins and two losses under his belt.
