Former UFC women's flyweight champion Rose Namajunas will fight compatriot Tracy Cortez on July 13 in the main event of UFC on ESPN 59 in Denver, CO.
Originally, Namajunas' opponent was supposed to be Maycee Barber, but she withdrew from the fight for unknown reasons.
Namajunas, 31, last stepped into the octagon in March 2024 at UFC on ESPN 53, defeating Amanda Ribas via unanimous decision. She has 12 wins and six losses under her belt.
Cortez, 30, last fought at UFC Fight Night 227 in September 2023, defeating Jasmine Jasudavicius by unanimous decision. She has 11 wins and one loss on her record.
