Former double UFC champion Daniel Cormier spoke out about Valentina Shevchenko, who will have a rematch with UFC women's flyweight champion Alexa Grasso on the night of September 17.
Not only did she lose her championship, we got to go back to her Taila Santos fight. It's not like she dominated that fight as she had been dominating on her title run. Maybe that's why she's a little bit more frustrated in regard to how the public views her and how she feels going into this rematch.
Shevchenko and Grasso first met in March 2023 at UFC 285. This confrontation ended with Alexa winning by choke in the fourth round.
Shevchenko, 35, has 23 wins and four losses on her record. Grasso, 30, has 16 wins and three losses.
