Former UFC two-division champion American Daniel Cormier gave his assessment of the future prospects of his compatriot Dominick Reyes, who is on a streak of four straight losses.
Daniel Cormier
We have a guy who was very close to becoming a champion, and then he gets knocked out by Procházka, who is the champion, and Błachowicz, who was the champion. Now Reyes isn't fighting champions, he lost to Spann. Things are starting to change, it's time for him to go.
Reyes last competed on the night of November 13 at UFC 281, losing to Ryan Spann by first-round knockout. In May 2021 at UFC on ESPN 23, he lost to Jiří Procházka by knockout in the second round.
In total, Reyes had 10 fights under the UFC banner, winning six and losing four.
