Former UFC two-division champion Daniel Cormier had some advice for former champion Charles Oliveira on how to get him a fight with Conor McGregor.
"If Oliveira really wants to get a fight with McGregor, I think he needs to talk more about Conor, maybe even insult him. Talk about all his problems. We need to bring up everything from the bus incident to the problems in the pub that he's dealing with right now. Oliveira needs to get personal, get nasty with this guy if he wants to cash that check," Cormier said on his YouTube channel.
Oliveira, 33, last stepped into the Octagon in October at UFC 280, where he lost to Islam Makhachev via second-round arm-triangle choke submission. In May, he defeated Justin Gaethje by first-round choke at UFC 274. Oliveira has a record of 33 wins and nine losses.
McGregor, 34, last competed at UFC 264 in July 2021 in a rematch with Dustin Poirier. Conor lost that fight by first round TKO. He has a record of 22 wins and six losses.
