In an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, coach Gor Azizyan discussed the final preparations of Shara Bullet before the fight against Michael Page.
“The training for Shara is going well, everything is going according to the plan. I arrived in Saudi Arabia on January 15, while Shara has been here for several weeks already. Everything is on track. As far as I know, Michael Page hasn’t arrived yet; I think he will come later. The later he arrives, the better it is for him, so that he can avoid the effects of acclimatization. He’ll come, cut weight, and fight," Gor Azizyan said.
You either arrive early or just in time. It’s better to come much earlier. There are three of us in the corner, and a total of seven people. Hotels in Riyadh are expensive. It costs $50,000 to stay for a month. One suit for two weeks here costs about $10,000.
On February 1, Sharaputdin Magomedov will face Michael Page at UFC Fight Night 250. This fight will be the co-main event of the evening. Shara Bullet has 15 wins and no losses, while Page has 22 wins and three losses.
