No. 9 UFC middleweight, Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev responded to a question about when his next fight may take place.
Chimaev said in an interview with YouTube channel MMA Uncensored:
I will fight everybody. Leon [Edwards], [Dricus] du Plessis, anyone, but not [during] Ramadan. I think Ramadan [is during] UFC 300. Maybe somebody in Saudi Arabia. I want to fight there. Not fighting in Ramadan anymore.
Recall that the debut UFC tournament in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) will take place on June 22.
Chimaev, 29, last stepped into the octagon in October 2023 at UFC 294, defeating Kamaru Usman by majority decision. He has 13 wins and no losses on his record.
