Former UFC lightweight title challenger Michael Chandler talked about what he expects from former two-division champion Conor McGregor during the filming of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 31.

Right now it’s good. Conor’s been respectful of me, I’ve been respectful of him. But you get stuck with somebody on camera 24/7 for six weeks, eight weeks…things happen that are out of your control and sometimes out of character. I don’t know if we’re gonna see the brash, loudmouth, Conor, or the respectful Conor, or one on Monday and a different one on Tuesday. But it’s going to lead to the biggest card of the year.
The 31st season of the TUF show will air this May. Chandler and McGregor will coach the teams of fighters, the winner of each will sign a contract with the promotion.
McGregor, 34, competed in the main event of UFC 264 in July 2021. At that tournament, Conor lost to Dustin Poirier by TKO in the first round. The Irishman has 22 wins and six losses.
Chandler, 36, last competed at UFC 281 in November 2022, when he lost to Dustin Poirier by TKO in 3-rd round. Michael has 23 wins and eight losses under his belt.
